Catholic School Party
Themed parties don’t have to be held only at Halloween. You can express yourself throughout the year. If you are getting ready to go back to school you could hold a Catholic School Party to kick off the new school year. Get ready for blackboards, teachers, professors and deans with one last round of relaxation, and of course, the catholic school girls in their sexy outfits. If you really want to get into the spirit of the party it should start with the invitations and continue until you have a makeshift school yearbook to give to your guests.
A Catholic School Party wouldn’t be the same without the classic uniform. So for girls that means a tiny plaid skirt with pleats, white blouse, white socks, white tennis shoes or Mary Jane’s. You can also wear a vest or sweater over the white blouse, and place your hair in a pony tail if it is long enough. Finish off the costume with a pair of glasses for a studious look. Guys should have a pair of black or khaki pants with a white button down shirt. A tie is mandatory. Black shoes and socks, glasses and hair slicked back away from the face are the finishing touches for our Catholic School boy. If possible someone should dress as a nun, teacher or principal.
You could have some music playing in the lunch room so that your “students “can dance or you may wish to show school movies even if it is in the background. If you choose a dance theme make sure the chaperones keep the boys and girls at a respectable distance from each other. There will be “no hanky panky”! Right?
If you’re providing some grub, food choices could be set up like a lunch line so you are pretty wide open for the menu. You might also want to think about putting together a paper bag or lunch box style meal. Bologna sandwiches, chips, fruit and a juice box would work great. Well, except for the juice box part, you will want some alcohol to replace that.
The finishing touch for your Catholic School Party should be a mini yearbook for the guests to receive. Make up the books ahead of time with construction paper as the cover and simple white pages for writing all those witty comments. Be sure you take lots of photos so that you can get copies made to complete the yearbooks. School has never had a beginning like this so you will want to document it.
